 Booyah! :) at 3:14:00 PMHi! I'm finally here to update my blog. And it's already February! This is a month filled with lots of loves, since CNY and Valentine's fall on this month. Does everyone of you enjoy? Gained weight because of CNY biscuits? Well, I spent half of my CNY with my family and relatives. Went back to hometown for family gathering, go around for CNY visiting.

You can see my brother grows larger in size. He's only shorter than dad.
And another thing, we got a new set of sofa for CNY, since the old one has already spoiled.

On the second day of CNY, we went back to dad's side hometown. Gambled, Lighted up the wishing lantern, took plenty of photos, and set off the firecrackers.
 
The fourth and fifth day of CNY, I went to Melacca with family, and boyf tagged along. It took us about 2 hours to reach there. Once we reach the central of Melacca, traffic jam was kinda terrible, it was very hard to move about if we drive, so we walked instead. We visited the historical sites after dinner and took some photos. Had a walk at Jonker Street. The street was crowded, it made us kinda difficult to walk. And most of the shops closed at night, so we gave up walking and headed back to our apartment.
   
And the next day, which was also Valentine's Day. I didn't celebrate it with the boyf since we already had our homemade Valentine's meal a week before it. We made Terriyaki Salmon. And boyf gave me the Valentine's present in advance. I think that's enough? :)
 
The group photo in the apartment we stayed in. The apartment was nicely renovated and decorated. It was clean and tidy, had air-cond in every rooms and even had mural.
After we had Nyonya dish as our lunch in one of the restaurants located at Jonker Street, we headed home. I like their spicy dishes, and the price was reasonable, but I don't know the name of the restaurant. -.- Anyway, if I happen to go to Melacca again, I hope it won't fall on public holiday so that it won't be so crowded then I can get to try more nice food at Jonket Street. :p
 I've never realized the time passed so fast, and February is going to end soon. Since I'm so free at home now, I learn how to draw eyebrows. Maybe I'll learn to do nail arts too, hahah. But I think I'll have to look for jobs, since I've been spending quite a lot recently. Anyway, gotta go now. BYE! :) Yours Truly, MANDYLEOW, xoxo |
